Bomboozle is getting pretty popular. Some people are getting some high scores, others are struggling in the 30-40,000 range.

Where are you people at and how are you finding the game?

Personally, I have reached 82,000, which isn't too far from the high scores on the site (12th currently, I think). I average in the 50-65,000 range and if I Get a good board I can get in the 70,000s.

Do you guys know you can get color bombs? They blow up all the bomboozles of the same color, but it happens only every 30th bomb that you get on the board.

Tip: it's usually better to break a 10 chain up into two 5 chains to get two bombs

Work from the top down (personal preference) to not disrupt bombs you can get at the top

Sometimes it's better to blow up a small group of bombs instead of getting as many as possible, if you can blow up the same amount of bomboozles with less bombs

I figured I would try to get a video of the game play since I have been getting scores in the 70,000s.

Well, first time around I got my highest score so far, 93,000+ and on video! So, its a great tool for players that want to learn some strategy

I don't remember seeing 15 bombs during a game, much less a 30th.

Interesting tips, though ... but I thought I was improving by getting longer 10 chains??? Why does breaking em up help???

Breaking it up helps because you can get two bombs instead of one. That's where the points really come in, creating chain reactions of bombs and getting the most bomboozles off the board at one time.

Yeah, that's the trick. I just got a really good setup with the bombs falling in good places clearing the board.
